It was a Friday night, and my college clique decided to meet up. Most restaurants in Greenbelt and Glorietta were fully occupied, so a brilliant mind (was it me or Athena?) suggested going to this concept restaurant in Greenbelt, Krazy Garlik.
We were ushered to the this cute wooden dining table at their Al Fresco area. I wanted to stay inside (the interiors look cool) but beggars can’t be choosy. If you can’t take the humid weather, I suggest staying on the airconditioned area.
On the table
First to arrive: Amazing Krazy Garlik Salad (P275). Click here to see my previous entry about salads.
Then, the pizza. We had it split into two flavors: Four Cheeses and Garlic Lovers(P365). It was okay, nothing spectacular.
Their version of Phad Thai (P350) was so spicy. Better have it from authentic Thai restos.
We also had Stuffed Pechay (P295). Ground pork and smoked fish simmered in coco chili cream sauce were stuffed inside the leaf. This will definitely be included in my list the next time I pay a visit to this place.
We were in agreement when Sarah said the 40 Kloves Chicken (to share P695) was the best from our set. In her words, the meat was “tender”. I loved their garlic cream sauce.
Overall, it was a garlic-ky experience. True to its word, Krazy Garlik is indeed “a dining destination that glorifies the taste of garlic.”
