Marine Lorphelin of France is second place while Carranzar Naa Okailey Shooter of Ghana finished third. Rounding up the final six are:

  • Brazil – Sancler Frantz
  • Spain – Elena Ibarbia
  • Gibraltar – Maroua Kharbouch (People’s Champion)

Megan, who aced the pageant’s Top Model competition, ranked first among the 10 semifinalists. The rest of the top 10 are:

  • Australia – Erin Holland
  • Nepal – Ishani Shrestha
  • England – Kirsty Heslewood
  • Indonesia – Vania Larissa
  • Jamaica – Gina Hargitay

Before Megan won, the closest the country has ever gotten to the crown was in 1973 when Evangeline Pascual placed first runner-up. This was repeated in 2011 when Gwendoline Ruais broke a 5-year drought and placed First Princess.
