Miss World 2013 Megan Young today paid a courtesy call on Philippines’ vice-president Jejomar Binay at the Coconut Palace, Pasay City.
Local newspaper Manila Bulletin (@manila_bulletin) tweeted that the Miss World organizers told Mr Binay their plans to have this year’s Miss World finals held in the country in November.
“In addition to bringing the Miss World Finals to the Philippines, the Miss World Organisation is proposing to bring candidates on a one week tour of major tourist spots in the country, a concert, and world fashion week,” ABS-CBN News posted on its Facebook page.”
