Miss World will crown its new queen tonight in Sanya, China. Out of more than 110 beauties from across the globe, only one will inherit the title from South Africa’s Rolene Strauss. Who will she be? Here’s my final predictions:

The Philippines has been very successful in the Miss World pageant since Cory Quirino took over the franchise in 2011. In just four years, the country already got its first Miss World crown via Megan Young, a runner-up (Gwendoline Ruais), a semifinalist (Queenierich Rehman) and a quarterfinalist (Valerie Weigmann).
Who among this year’s candidates will wear the Philippines sash in Sanya, China for the Miss World 2015 finals in December? Here are my final predictions:
May Myat Noe of Myanmar was crowned Miss Asia Pacific World 2014 on May 30 in South Korea, making history as the first Burmese to win a crown in a female beauty pageant.
Kim Eea of Korea placed first runner-up while Macau’s Hio Man Cha finishes 2nd runner-up. Completing the all Asian Top 7 are: Hillarie Danielle Parungao of the Philippines (3rd runner-up), Anukriti Gusain of India (4th runner-up), Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 2 contestant Pooja Gill of Singapore (4th runner-up) and Nisanat Mongsai of Thailand (6th runner-up).
The rest of the Top 15 are: Lenka Josefiova (Czech Republic), Dianella Lopez (Ecuador), Johanna Acs (Germany), Natalia Coto (Honduras), Shanzay Hayat (Pakistan), Petra Tonhauserova (Slovakia), Amanda Silva (Sri Lanka) and Tiffany Hunte (Trinidad & Tobago).
Miss Philippines was awarded Best in National Costume while Miss Honduras was named Best in Swimsuit. Best in Talent award was given to Miss Slovakia, while Miss Pakistan received the Grand Dance award. The rest of the recipients of special awards are: Australia (Grand Multimedia), Armenia (Grand Voice), Georgia (Grand Supermodel) and Romania (Grand Fashion).
